Rogelio “Roger” Ozorio Barbieto, 66, of Kailua-Kona and Waimanalo died Aug. 5, 2013, at Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born April 24, 1947, in Honolulu, he was a retired drywaller and commercial fisherman. He was also honorably discharged from the Army National Guard as a vehicle repair specialist, qualified missile marksman and rifle sharpshooter.
A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Aug. 24 at Bellows Field Beach Park in Waimanalo. The family requests casual attire to be worn and no flowers. Please bring beach chairs. Swim wear is optional. For information, call 206-0187 or 741-3963.
He is survived by wife, Kitty Barbieto of Kailua-Kona; son, Samuel Barbieto of Holualoa; daughter, Krysta Barbieto of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Domingo (JoJo) Barbieto of Waimanalo, Oahu, David (Yvonne) Barbieto of Volcano, Alfredo (Katie) Barbieto of Kailua, Oahu, Candido (Cindy) Barbieto Jr., Richard (Teri) Barbieto of Ocean View, Benjamin Barbieto of Pearl City; sisters, Nancy Steeley of Missouri, Linda Cuesta of Virginia, Vicky (Manny) Dela Cruz of Kaunakakai, Molokai, Patricia (Rodney) Manandik of Las Vegas, Cynthia Barbieto of Las Vegas, Tita (Claude) Mendiola of Kailua-Kona; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Hiroko “Marian” Kaneko, 88, of Honolulu died Aug. 6, 2013, at her Honolulu residence. Born Jan. 17, 1925, in Olaa, Puna, she was a retired postal clerk at Chun Hoon Pharmacy and an adult supervisor at Nuuanu Elementary School.
Friends may call Aug. 18 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary’s East Chapel, where visitation begins 4:30 p.m. and the service is 5:30 p.m. The family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.
She is survived by son, Reynold of Waipahu; daughters, Karen Hill of Honolulu, Dianne Imamura of Honolulu, Sylvia (Dwight) Asato of Honolulu; brother, George Takenaga of Honolulu; three grandchildren.

Nolbert “Bert” Kaimanahila Kelepolo, 65, of Kailua-Kona died June 17, 2013, at his residence. Born April 25, 1948, in Kealakekua, he was a food waiter at the Kona Inn, Royal Kona Resort and the former King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel.
Friends may call at 9 a.m. Aug. 24 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church lot, next to the City of Refuge in Honaunau, for a 10 a.m. celebration of life. The family requests casual attire and loose flowers are welcome.
He is survived by daughter, Alexandra (Bronson Malani) Kelepolo of Hilo; brothers, Benedict Kelepolo of Captain Cook, Clifford (Dorothy) Kelepolo of Honaunau, Matthew Kelepolo and Wilfred Kelepolo, both of Honolulu; sisters, Lurline (George) Kina of Hilo, Hazel Juanich of Kailua-Kona, Hilda House of Oregon; hanai sister, Gladiola Texeira of Ocean View; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
